gtfoxy that thing looks totally bad ass.  very cool.   JW you always have something just a tad cooler... jealous!  Those cans are heavy enough to warrant a lighter weight barrel.  Except of course for a TITANIUM! can, damn...

Thanks! My version of a KISS build.

Everyone who has handled it or shot it has enjoyed it. I haven't had a chance to take the new barrel for a spin yet but it should be just as fun as the last one. Except now it will run subs like a champ. [wink]

Yeah, JW is always cooking up something waaaay cool.

GT, I screwed up that barrel when I tried to install the gas block. Instead of throwing it in the pond, I turned it down to make it lighter. It seems to be a good bit lighter than it was before. I didn't weigh before and after, so I don't know exactly how much lighter it is now.
That pistol you put together is clean. Sometimes simpler is better.

How about a 18" A2 277-Wolverine with a free float tube under the handguards, super peep sights and a Geissele two stage trigger......kind of a modified DCM Variant.

Great looking builds here in this thread. Finally my build fresh off the vise. First AR pistol build and first 277 Wolverine! Never thought I would ever have an AR Pistol but looking forward to the range time!!!

Nice build, and good looking ammunition, although just for the record, I didn't send it to him that way[confused]

That's the only way they fit, I mean with the box taped up looking like a mouse tried to get in

Lol yep it came in a nice new box. I just had to tape up one end later as my gun ripped it open begging me to shoot it. JK

Nice rigs Joe,even color coordinated.I would have liked a tan sig brace instead of black but that's what was available.I bet the tan camos better there than green, attractive and practical.

Thanks - these are Leapers 3-12x44 Compact 30mm tube side-focus IR scopes.  I've installed no less than 20 of these on ARs for self, friends, and family. They are an amazing value and plenty good for shooting from 5.7x28 up to 7.62x39 and 7.62x40WT.

Thanks - here in AZ, the tan/FDE color just seems "right".

Thought they were Leapers as I think you recommended them before. I have a red dot of theirs I love as well. Great value for me as well. Thanks and UTG rails too correct?
