Anyone thought about the Mossberg MVP?

I've done a whole mess of 300 BLK barrels for them including my personal gun. They are easy to make and it would be a drop in conversion with AR mags and everything!

I was thinking about it just last night matter of fact. I lapped the rings and mounted a scope on one for a friend yesterday. For a cheaper rifle I was kinda impressed with the action on his.

Savage Axis would be a good choice as well for a donor that doesn't break the bank. Walmart has them for under $300.

Made a BLK barrel for my friend out of a 5R Mike Rock barrel and it shoots great. Same tooling required as a model 110.

We have a Savage pre-fit done and going into an Axis any day now. 20", target crown, should be a great shooter.

It did, its fish scale. Its nice compared to the slick stocks, they can be hard to hold on to with gloves.

20" on an axis. It'll get a Nikon 3-9 when I get around to mounting it and a Boyds stock down the road. Excellent weight and balance.

I decided to go with the leupold 6.5-20x40 vx-III Lr. I need to save up for a rail and lower rings down the road but for testing purposes it should do fine as it sits.

Thought you might like that. Savage axis .223 with nothing but a barrel swap and a NSS barrel nut.
