The remainder of the Mongoose barrel order is shipping my way today... so, by the time I get them and send them back out, the remaining folks should have them in about a week.

Thanks again all for your patience.

Wooooooooo!! I need to add a few items to ship with the barrel. I need the COAL gauge, a matched bolt and a port door. I know I can pay for the gauge and the door on the store page, but the bolt I might be overlooking on the page?

Josh,

The only BCG's I have in stock right now are the Toolcraft BN.  I don't have any spare loose bolts right now, I'm sorry.  Loose bolts as well as some other parts are unobtanium right now for us due to the recent scares and such.  Folks are back-ordered for a month or more.  If you purchase a BN BCG, I will pick the bolt that matches your barrel best from the ones I have.  That's the best I can do right now.

Here's a link to them:

http://www.maddogweapons.com/store/p404/MDWS_Black_Nitride_%28FACETED%29_BCG_-_5.56.html

I would like to reiterate that the headspace is set at the factory when the extension is installed, so any in-spec bolt should be just fine.  If you really want me to find a best match form what I have on hand, all I have is the BN BCG's to pull bolts from to match one up.

Thanks!

Got to have some "test"barrels on hand!
Wish they were here today. Gonna blast some hogs tomorrow night. I guess I will have to make do with the 16" WLV.
Not much of a downgrade...

Chip McCormick 3.5lb single stage with flat shoe. I have one in every lower that I own. they now come with captured pins (screws in the ends) so you dont have to worry about them coming out.

Sweet! The last part of this week has been all good. Received my quantum rail yesterday will have the barrel and the dust cover/port door Monday. I'm thinking next weekend for some long overdue range time. Haven't been able to get out for a while. As a side note here, I opened the rail and immediately ordered two more in shorter lengths for my SBR. I like the feel and the look of them, don't think I can go wrong.

We just want to apologize one last time to everyone for the wait.

We hope everyone has some great range time with their new Mongoose.

It's like Christmas, all the parts arrived today. The barrel is a slight interference fit in the receiver, so the barrel is in the freezer, and the receiver is out on the deck in the sun.

22" SPR (850/730) 1-8 with a 15" Quantum handguard. I had planned on using a Seekins, but that got used during the wait. My cheap scale says everything weighs 9 3/4 lbs including the 6-24 HS-T. Eventual plans include a UBR and swapping this scope with the 4-16 HS-T on my Savage 260, and I'm not sure I like the MI brake, but I got a couple of them dirt cheap a while back.

Now that I have a chamber and bolt, I can start making brass.
