Hi all,

I have plenty of 5.56 brass that has already been resized in a RCBS small base .223 die. I assume that it will be ok to go ahead and run it through the Mongoose sizer die, correct? I don't see it posing any issues but wanted to ask those who know more than me about it. Thanks.

won't be a problem and don't worry when the brass comes out looking like this not a big deal just shoot and fire form and you are good to go.

it happens when forming cause the case is blown out at the top so it isn't supported in the die just normal. load and shoot

^^^  Yup - exactly what BD said!  ^^^

Don't worry about little "donut rings" at the shoulder/body junction - just be concerned with getting the cartridge headspace right.  If you're not sure how to do that, there are several posts on the forum that explain in detail.  Here are two: https://mdws.forumchitchat.com/post/wildcats-how-to-set-up-dies-9608763?pid=1303074529 and https://mdws.forumchitchat.com/post/making-7-62x40-brass-7815191?trail=25   The 2nd link is discussing forming 7.62x40 cases, but the same principles apply for 6mm Mongoose (just different dimensions).
