Just kidding. New guy here from Southern Ohio. I grabbed a 6mm Mongoose barrel while they were on sale and am getting ready to put together a little something for the coyotes around here. I've been shooting/modifying/reloading for decades but have just started down the MSR road.

Welcome from southeastern Arizona. The Mongoose is an amazing round... accurate, fast, accurate, powerful, accurate, fun, accurate, flexible, and - did I mention accurate?  You will likely contract BRD* like 99% of us here - so don't worry.  It may be expensive at times, but never fatal.  Plus - this forum is an exceptional support group!

BRD = Black Rifle Disease.  The insatiable need to build and own multiple MSRs in multiple calibers.

Welcome to the family! I was fortunate enough to get one of the first Mongoose barrels available and it has been a complete joy to work with! Even the fire form loads with 55gr Nosler SP are amazing.

Thanks for the welcome, guys.  I can see BRD setting in. I've been watching Moleman and his 357AR on another forum and will have to build one of those too for deer hunting next fall.

I have a couple in .223. I'm trying to decide if this one should use parts from those, or start over. I'd kind of like a side charger...

My brother just finished a 6.5 Grendel. It should be interesting to see how the two rounds compare.

Welcome from NW Illinois.  You're in Wolverine country here.  That's the Grendel killer around here.

Welcome. You are going to like it here...
Like you, had reloading experience but wasn't into the AR after I got out of the Army in 79- had a 22-250, 243, etc. and didn't really need one. Had some medical problems 10 years ago and sold almost everything to pay them off. So when I was finally feeling better a couple of years ago, I started researching all of the AR15 larger bore stuff and stumbled on the Wolverine and on this forum. Its been a constant fight since then to keep from falling ill with the BRD most of this pack has, there are so many great cartridges you can't stop thinking about the possibilities. I personally can't afford them all on my income, but you better believe I would if I could...I've got a 277 Wolverine AR and a Savage Axis, and a 7.62x40 AR. That'll keep me busy for a while.
These are great people, knowledgeable and always happy to help whatever the question. Like I said, you are going to like it here.

Welcome to the place.

Mongoose is my favorite AR round. There are lots of other options around here if you find yourself in need of something different. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. The only stupid question is the one that is not asked.
