Both blue and black dots are 1/2 inch targets. Circle drawn has a diameter of 0.95. Green is 5 shots .224 bullet. Black is 3 shot .243

2 questions:

1. In your opinion how do the 2 groups compare?

2. how much do you think black one could tighten up with seating depth?

That's pretty solid for the range.

.243 is my most accurate cartridge. I worked up a load using Speer 85 grain BTSP over 4064 and got this:

But I think the little holes in the target are remnants of the jacket so I'm not done yet.

I might try the new 100 grain Gamechangers that have BC above .500.

As far as 22 caliber:

But that's an old Mossberg 22lr carbine. I've never been able to shoot an AR that well, even though multiple ex-military friends have tried to teach me.

Have you played with OAL at all? My rifle doesn't seem to care.
