I fear the current political climate will make 80% more difficult even if using a form one to make it have an ATF provenance. The argument will be all other 80% are ghost guns unless made by a commercial company. That said are you planning considering manufacturing uppers or engraving commercial uppers.....Oregon is at risk of becoming Northern NorCal or Southern southern Washington

I favor becoming Western western Idaho myself and making the 405 corridor it's own "Respublik"

Suggestions for next batch of 80% lowers:
1. Have the rear takedown pin pocket milled out.
2. Have anodized

Any upper ideas... logo or the caliber caricature by the bolt release or on a slick side upper? With the mad catter lower. So as you change out uppers the caricature identifies the caliber

Great, I’d like to try my hand at an 80.
With that said, what’s everyone’s experience with router jigs? Has anyone tried the latest 5d model or others?

I had a good experience with 5D. The only one I have done. Plenty of video instruction, etc.

I can neither confirm or deny I have done more than one 80.... my jig is worn. The jig is really just a guide. The drilling for pins. Safety is critical. The best idea I have for Biggdawg would be to also engrave a witness line on the top for people to mill to. If you mill to wide you can salvage with a drop in trigger kit. And shim the rear take down pin area. It's better to go slow. Measure the side walls on a mill spec and leave a little extra until ready to dry fit. No one likes to put all the time in thsn have a loose fit.

Best of luck lots of satisfaction in doing it yourself!

sorry but that would take way too much time so price would go way up not worth it, use a good jig and there are no problems even the cheap jigs work for a few times.
