Found what I needed, Thanks.

Looking for a 357 Max upper or  barrel. I have parts collected for a build, but would take a proven shooter if someone wants to sell one.

there's one up on the list now, not sure what's going on with advertised as 357 AR which could be 357 Magnum length?

.357 AR is ".357 Maximum" length (1.6") rimless... not Magnum length (1.29").

there have been a few suppliers doing a 357 Magnum length AR barrel, here's mention of both on the same page

gotta be careful and define terms in the 357 AR realm!

https://thearguy.com/357s-come-to-the-ar

before long there'll be as many variants as 9mm handgun

Good point.  At MDWS, the .357 AR is for a 1.6" case.  I can't answer for others...

Also need to be careful who makes your barrel. Same guy  http://762x25tokarev.proboards.com/thread/198/357-rimless-mag-max Up until 11/20/18 he was using a standard 357Max reamer to make his barrels. A standard 357Max reamer does not cut a case mouth shoulder so you can headspace the barrel correctly.  A pic of his as a result of improper headspace.  He does come up in a google search well but it doesn't appear he has much experience making a correct barrel.  thearguywrongreamer.png

Well I sure don't want those problems! I'm looking for the 1.6 case length, 357 Max AR, and I want it done with the correct reamer! 😉

+10 for understatement of the day!!  Fortunately not an issue for MDWS barrel makers and/or nomenclature.
