I see H414 used in 223
28.5gr w/55gr bullet(2919fps out of 20" bbl)
27.0-28.0gr w/60-70 gr bullets
So would this not be a good powder in the goose?

Hodgdon lists it under a 100gr in the 6x45, but velocity and pressure are down with a higher charge compared to other powders. That means the burn rate is too slow. You could probably get it to work with heavier bullets, but I'd pick a different powder for the mongoose.
