Hello All!  My name's Todd Magee.  I'm the Director of Engineering at Dead Air Silencers.  A bad influence just got me into 277 Wolverine and I thought I'd check in since I'll probably have some questions along the way.

I'm working on a carbine length rifle with an adjustable gas system.  I'm pretty infatuated with making AR rifles sound better with suppressors.  Typically, suppressors make the chamber open sooner (due to increased pressure in the gas system) and that uncorking allows for an audible pop that is measurable as sound and it's usually not hearing safe.  I've been able to get other platforms to measure below the 140 dB level (OSHA safe) and I really hope to do the same with this one.

I'll post some pictures shortly.  I'm very excited to work on this!

Todd, welcome from southeastern Arizona.  You'll find quite a few experienced "Form-1" silencer makers, a lot of cash-poor Form-4 silencer buyers, and with some talented engineers/fabricators on this forum!  Welcome to the Wolverine Den... make yourself at home!

Greeting from Montana and welcome! There are a ton of great people here.
I own a Ghost, must must admit I haven't tried it on any of my Wolvies yet. I'm certainly interested on any advances on making the AR suppress better.

Welcome.

Mmmmm... suppressors!!!

I want one(maybe two or perhaps 10), but lately I have been too poor to even attempt it.  One day, though, after a year wait maybe[biggrin]

I believe this "Wolverine" model will go well on my WLV AK!  All I need to do is move to a State that allows them ha!

I can’t wait to get mine, your recommendation was a big help in my decision to go with the Sandman.

Welcome from Texas. Glad to see someone from a great suppressor manufacturer here and interested in this round. Would be great feedback for those running suppressors on their Wolverines (myself included).
