Some of the people I've talked to were concerned it might spill over into the commercial market.  When New York's SAFE Act was passed in 2013 other manufacturers did the same.  Most local LE are pro 2A and NRA but the Left and Gov. Cuomo are not and they have this state by the nads!  Only about 12 out of 62 counties are supportive of the Laws that were passed and they center around vey liberal and populated areas like NYC, Albany, and Cornell University.
