I'm happy to announce that I'll be acquiring a 6mm Mongoose upper and $100 tomorrow in exchange for a CZ527 Varmint Laminate .223. I have several other .223s so I wont be missing it too much (but I am a CZ lover). I'm a big coyote hunter and I was looking for a cartridge with more knock down but yet sensitive on pelts. I'm really excited to try 80gr GMX and 70gr TNT as well as others I have. Love the 6mm.

I have some experience with the cartridge in that I have its cousin the 6TCU in a 16" TC Contender barrel. I love the cartridge so I feel "the goose" is perfect for what I'm wanting.

I look forward to the information I learn on this forum.

Welcome from WI! You’ll like the ‘goose- accurate and cheaply loaded! Works on larger critters, if you want to test it out, too!

Welcome from southeastern Arizona.  Ditto others comments - the Mongoose is a winner!
