Hey guys ,I finally had a chance to go put a few rounds down range . I have a big cache of factory blems 80 grn sp . So I figured I could use them to ff my brass . I am impressed with this barrel /round combo !!! I tried BL-C2 & Benchmark in these ff loads . Benchmark showed pressure signs and had ftf issues when multiple rounds were loaded in mags. When I single loaded 3 rounds ,all 3 locked the bolt back . The BL-C2 loads functioned perfectly! Thanks MDWS,I think this barrel is going to be a keeper !

Well, I'd say you found a couple good fire forming loads!
I don't have a Mongoose (yet), but I do know that in the Ocelot that you can fit between .3-.9 grains more powder in a fire formed case. Depending on powder/bullet combo, of course.
Good job.

So that's 10 shots into less than an inch at 100 yards?  Great shooting - and the barrel looks like a real winner. Did you shoot any over a chrono?

Yes it is ,bipods off the hood of my truck . This thing seems like it's going to shoot with my TCU barrels, just a little faster to get rounds down range lol. No KLR, I didn't take the Chrono. Once I arrived at the farm and saw the wind wasn't ripping ,I was kicking myself. I've already loaded the Chrono in the truck for the next trip .I'm wanting to try some 70 TNT's over some H-322 after I get all my brass fireformed.
