Is the 243 GPC essentially a 6x6.8?

I know the GPC tweaks the 6.8 brass some, but Hmmm!

Seems really cool, but then again, the different bolt from the 5.56 case is what steered me into the .277 Wlv in the first place.

I am conflicted. I like it, but I don't know if I should even be letting my mind wander![biggrin]

well we will be making it even harder because we are going to try and make these work by sizing 22 nosler brass so you can use standard bolt  [redface]

i just got some nosler brass in so i need to make a few cases and cross section to see how they will work so we will see.

Guess who has not been reading up on the GPC as much as he should...

This guy!![wink]

If it is made out of .22 Nosler brass, where can a guy get as inexpensive(didn't say cheap because I am not a giant idiot) as possible brass.

I will try to research some more, but my interest is picked.

PS- I already know I am a little bit of an ID10t[biggrin]

there isn't cheep 22 nosler brass right now only one vendor 22 nosler that is why i am checking to see if it works with standard specs i don't want to change the chamber much to make it work because there is only one supplier.  it is more for those that don't want to switch bolts and use a 556 bolt that is why we are checking into it. more options is always good.

Hope you can make it work, but the reports I'm seeing about the Nosler brass being soft aren't encouraging.

If I can help with the nosler brass let me know, I’ve just purchased a 250pc bag for an upcoming prairie dog hunt.
