I thought i would post this here. there are alot of guys with questions  and or having issues getting brass to fit their chambers especially on the wildcats.

i wrote this blog post about wildcats but it applies to all guns. this is how i set up cases for every gun i have weather a wildcat or a saami round. just screwing the die to to the shell holder is not how things should be done.

All of this foundational information is great for those of us newer to the scene, thank you.

Great post, BIGGDAWG. This should be a sticky at the top of the handloading section. It would serve as a great source of info for anyone not knowing how to use this equipment, and could help limit the repeated questioning on how to correctly set up dies. After buying a set of body comparators about 5 or 6 years ago, myself, I've found them indispensable. I've readjusted an untold number of dies. Definitely, something that should be a part of every reloader's repertoire!

Great post on setting things up. A good reminder for some and a great starting point for starters. Thanks for sharing.

I agree Bruce this should be a sticky post.

If you know a Mod that can make it happen.   [wink]
